17/12/2008 : CONTRIBUTION TO A SAFER WORKPLACE BY TVH: TOTALSOURCE PILLAR PROTECTORS, NEW IN OUR RANGE.

TVH- Group Thermote & Vanhalst’s Handling Equipment Division has now added with TotalSource pillar protectors, an affordable prevention aid to it’s range of products. The pillar protectors have been designed to prevent common damage on concrete or steel pillars.

Totalsource pillar protectors are made of semi-flexible, hit-proof material. When hit, they absorb the shock and return back their original profile quickly . The protectors come in 2 symmetrical halves that can be wrapped very easily around the pillar by one person without drilling holes in the pillar or in the floor. With 2 shafts though a set of rings to fasten the protectors they maintain their position during and after collision. Each half of the protector is an almost airtight casing with a regulator cap. These protectors offer great protection for your pillars but also for the forklift truck and driver. They have the ability to absorb the impact when hit so that the driver will barely feel a thing.

The TotalSource pillar protectors are waterproof, resistant to chemicals, and easy to clean and install. They are lightweight in hi-visibility yellow are available in different sizes and finish. The plastic fabric has also been treated with a UV-stabiliser coating to prevent the colour fading due to weather conditions.
