25/04/2005 : ALL IS WELL IN TVH'S SHIPPING DEPARTMENT. TRAINING RESULTS IN NEW SHIPPING RECORD.

After having moved from Gullegem to Waregem, the shipping department of TVH is now in a temporary transition phase. Today, customers still receive parts from both sites, but in the end all spares will be sent from Waregem in order to improve the speed and quality of TVH shipments even more. Recently, last year's shipping record was broken.

Efficient training In order to improve customer service every day, the people in TVH's shipping department receive packing training. The training sessions are planned by a professional training manager hired for the occasion and are supervised by instructors and suppliers of packing material. The theory is given in a very efficient way. All trained staff receive a documentation folder which can be consulted any time.

In the future, more training sessions are planned, a.o. in order picking and scanning/packing. That is the way TVH – group Thermote & Vanhalst wants to invest in the competence of its staff. A philosophy that will certainly be appreciated by customers as well as staff.

New shipping record On Thursday 14th April, a new shipping record was set with 3.074 sent orders in one day. Once training is successfully finished, we predict customers will be satisfied with the results, causing sales to increase.
