TVH APPOINTS PETER GEIREGAT AS CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

New blood at parts specialist TVH. With the appointment of Peter Geiregat as Chief People Officer (CPO), the company aims, among other things, to further globalise the corporate culture and the HR team, as well as to further expand Talent Management. 

On 1 September, Peter Geiregat exchanged the Ghent scale-up Showpad for TVH, an international player in the field of parts and accessories for forklifts, industrial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery. For some, this may seem a surprising choice. "A global player as TVH offers many opportunities," Geiregat explains.

160 JOB OPENINGS AND PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITIES

Currently, around 4500 people are employed by TVH worldwide. "Even in my first weeks at TVH, I noticed the We Are One company culture. With over 160 job openings, which are very diverse and often focused on technology and customer experience, the further upscaling of that culture is therefore a key priority."

Geiregat sees several major strengths in TVH: a striking focus on people, a strong entrepreneurial spirit and constant growth. "TVH never loses momentum", he says. "Especially in the field of, for instance, IT. When you consider that 17 000 orders leave TVH every day, you know that this is a high-tech working environment."

PROTECTOR AND ARCHITECT

The biggest challenges for Geiregat at TVH? As CPO, he views himself as a guardian of the corporate culture, and also as the architect and leader of the HR team that wants to make organisations successful by helping their people grow. "To have committed employees is one of the foundations of our strategy. To this end, we will continue to build on our initiatives around our well-being programme Nudge and our corporate values, which are also important factors for the further development of our employer branding."

RICH EXPERIENCE

In his new role as CPO at TVH, Geiregat can build on a wealth of experience in various HR and CPO positions in an international environment. He has lived in Russia, the USA and the UK. He was Chief People Officer at Showpad from 2017 until March 2021. Before that, he worked in Tech and Professional Services. He also worked as a consultant for a number of large NGOs, such as Médecins Sans Frontières and Amnesty International.
