When operating an Electric Scissor Lift, safety is a top concern for both operators and pedestrians. To ensure everyone's safety, TVH offers a variety of alarms, horns, safety tape, and warning lights.
To let those around the equipment know when the machine is moving, a backup alarm, like the STA20504, is an affordable, easy to install option. This alarm comes in 87, 97 and 102 dB to accommodate a wide variety of working environments. Use in combination with a 112 dB horn kit like the SY40224, which comes with a relay, harness, and mounting bracket.
Another way to increase safety is to tape off the working area with safety tape, which visually allows everyone to see where the machine is working. There are several versions of safety strip [KN1] tape and caution tape available. If taping off an area is not an option, TVH also offers red area warning lights, which create a visible red line to mark the working area. By attaching the SY549271-ALT to each side of the Electric Scissor Lift, you can show the working area around the machine and will move alongside when the equipment is moving.
