TVHCares, TVH’s charitable program that encourages employees to get involved and make an impact in our communities, recently had several employees participate in a splash day volunteer event at the Boys & Girls Club in Olathe, KS on July 19, 2018 and at the Boys and Girls Club of Lake County, IL on 25, 2018. The splash day consisted of several water games involving water balloons and water soaked sponges. The kids had fun not only getting each other wet but also getting our volunteers wet. The giant water balloon fight at the end was the kids’ favorite activity.
These volunteer opportunities are made possible through TVHCares, a charitable program that encourages TVH employees to get involved and make an impact in the local community. Through the program, employees have the opportunity to work with many non-profit organizations and charities. The TVHCares committee works closely with the Boys and Girls Club of Olathe and Lake County to offer several volunteer opportunities throughout the year for our employees.
"This is one of my favorite volunteer opportunities. The kids always have so much fun with this event and it is a fun way to spend some of our volunteer time," Susan Allman, OE Purchasing Specialist commented.
Through the TVHCares program, employees have the opportunity to work with many non-profit organizations and charities, such as Center of Grace. The final Center of Grace volunteer opportunity of 2018 will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
