TVH has a proud history of giving back to the communities where we live and work. Sometimes there is no better way to give back, than by donating blood. Each year, TVH is excited to partner with the American Red Cross in order to give our employees a chance to donate blood. With blood bank reserves depleted, the need for blood was greater than ever. This year, through the three blood drives held at our headquarters in Olathe, KS, TVH employees were able to donate 127 units of blood, saving over 380 lives.
“Lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation,” said Lucy DelSarto, Health and Wellness Coach. “The need for blood is constant and the donations we’ve collected are essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illness, traumatic injuries and more.”
This is just one of many opportunities that TVH offers its employees to make an impact in the community. We are proud of what we have accomplished in 2021 and are looking forward to continuing our culture of giving back in 2022.
