What kind of material are your sweeper and scrubber picking up? Sand or dust? What about leaves or even paper? Are you cleaning once a week, or more regularly? What kind of environment are you operating in? There are many factors that are vital to consider to ensure the right brush is being used. Keep in mind that TVH offers a wide variety of fill patterns to fit the needs of many working environments!

Single Row Pattern
The configuration of this full wrap pattern is designed to effectively clean and remove fine particles like dust or sand. It is best to refrain from using it to clean up big or bulky items. Single row patterns are often used on industrial warehouse flooring.

Double Row Spiral Wrap Pattern
The double row is very versatile and is often seen as the most popular fill pattern for sweeping applications. This design allows for the space between each row to trap bigger debris. Simultaneously, the bristles are working to pick up finer debris, like dust and sand.

Patrol Pattern
A V pattern is used on this design to enable the ability to sweep large areas at a high speed. There are fewer rows and more bristles per row. This allows the brush to effectively pick up medium to large debris, such as cans, paper or leaves, while still operating at a relatively high speed.

Herringbone Pattern
Similar to the patrol pattern, the herringbone uses a V design with the primary difference being the double-row fill. Operating at normal sweeping speeds, this pattern is best used for small to medium debris. The design moves the items closer to the center of the hopper to be collected more proficiently.

Chevron Pattern
The full fill, the single-row pattern is designed for use on cylindrical scrub brushes. The chevron pattern directs the chemical solutions toward the center of the scrubbers cleaning path while the bristles loosen debris from the surface. Bristles are kept on the cleaning surface at all times. The short bristles cannot flick or sweep regardless of filament length.

Window Brush Pattern
The open pockets this pattern creates allow the brush to trap light debris that other brushes struggle to pick up such as scraps of paper. Smooth warehouse floors are the ideal environment to use this type of brush on.

Sand Wedge Pattern
Some conditions call for a higher-density fill on a brush. The sand wedge is best used to collect sawdust, cement dust or dirt thanks to the effective zigzag design. Other fine materials can be picked up with this brush pattern as well.
