It’s back to school season! Right before students headed back to school this Fall, TVH conducted the annual Back to School Drive. With nearly 15 million students struggling to gather the proper school supplies, TVH jumped at the chance to help out! TVH employees banned together and gathered over 90 bags of supplies to be split between the schools in the area! Employees at the Grayslake branch collected 10 bags worth of donated items. At the Olathe branch, the collection bins were overflowing with over 30 bags of supplies! No item was too big or too small, TVH collected them all! Supplies brought in by employees ranged from pencils all the way to backpacks. These donations will not only help young minds enhance their learning experience, but also give teachers more school supply options to work with.
TVH is known for partnering with community organizations and encouraging employees to engage in volunteer opportunities. Employees often spend their volunteer days off at different local organizations to give back their time. Within the United States and Canada, TVH supports various local Boys and Girls Clubs and takes advantage of several volunteer opportunities with the organization. Helping the area’s youth gain easy access to the tools they need to be successful is one of the company’s favorite ways to give back.
The company hosts events and participates in activities to show varying levels of support. In addition to the school supply drive, TVH has held other successful fundraisers and donation drives for local charities. Some examples include clothing drives, Toys for Tots, a National Breast Cancer Awareness Bake Sale and National Wear Red Day for Women. TVH is happy to make as many charitable contributions as possible to the community throughout the year!
