After many years in the motor industry as parts salesman/manager, I decided a new challenge was in order and started looking for different avenues.
One day I received a call from someone I had worked together with whilst I was in the motor trade. He offered me the position as parts salesman at (then) Forklift Parts International. This person had met with Mr. Thermote, one of the founders of TVH, whilst he was on a visit to South Africa in the early 90's and as TVH had shown interest in making a solid move into the South African market, I accepted the offer and started in the mid 90's operating from a residential area in Pretoria. We soon moved to an industrial area in Johannesburg. That is where my colleagues and I started going from strength to strength - ever growing, until where we are today.
