What is an orbitrol steering valve?

Steering units are not usually subjected to much wear and tear, so they often outlast the machine they're built into. However, some parts of the power-steering system do need to be serviced. 
Tasks include:

• Changing shaft seals and O-rings; 
• Disassembling, cleaning and reassembling contaminated parts;  
• Performing hydraulic testing, including valve setting.

• Air in the steering cylinder.
