After 16 years of faithful service, Dirk Modaert (47) lost his job from one day to the next. Thanks to his tons of technical experience, he was able to start with TVH immediately.
After the bankruptcy of his employer Dirk didn't give up and immediately applied for a job at TVH. " A friend of mine already worked here. Through him I already learned that TVH is a solid company with a high job security. I applied for a job that was similar to my previous job as an engineer. But I was given the chance to keep using my technical knowledge, in a less demanding function. Now I work here with the technical entry check. I inspect all parts that enter TVH: measuring, taking photographs, inputting the details into the computer.”

“Of course the new function took some getting used to. But as a starter you are assigned a sponsor here. Freddy was my sponsor and has given me the necessary training. I have to say that I was really very well received here. And you get help whenever necessary. I do notice clear differences with where I used to work: safety regulations are observed much more strictly here. And a hospitalization insurance and luncheaon vouchers are also new to me. I do have to drive a little further to work, but that is the only disadvantage.”
