Discover our range of boom lift hydraulic valves
There are nearly as many types of boom lift hydraulic valves as ways to actuate them. We offer a huge variety of hydraulic valves and accessories for boom lifts at TVH:
Directional valves
An integral part of every boom lift hydraulic system, directional valves control the direction that hydraulic fluid flows in. They can be operated electronically or mechanically. Find a huge range of directional valves at TVH, with different inlet and outlet configurations, voltages and ports, including:
- 2/2-way directional valves – These have two flow pipe connections and can switch into two different positions.
- 3/2-way directional valves – These have three flow pipe connections and can switch into two different positions.
- 4/3-way directional valves – These have four flow pipe connections and can switch into three different positions.
- 6/2-way directional valves – These have six flow pipe connections to allow flow from different sources and can switch into two different positions.
- 8/3-way directional valves –These have eight flow pipe connections to allow flow from different sources and can switch into three different positions.
Hydraulic regulators
These have the important job of maintaining output pressure at a set value and minimising fluctuations in a pressurised line. They prevent overpressure by unloading the fluid being pumped through the system and regulating the operating pressure. Our range includes:
- Check valves that enable fluid to flow in one direction while blocking flow in the opposite direction. The check valve will close if the pressure in the right-side port equals or exceeds the pressure in the left-side port, blocking flow in the opposite direction.
- Single-ball shuttle valves that allow flow to come from different sources and direct the highest pressure to a single outlet port. They’re typically used in load-sensing or brake circuits.
- Pressure-relief valves, which are safety valves that stop pressure building up in the hydraulic system and prevent overpressure.
- Flow-control valves that control the flow rate of hydraulic fluid to cylinders and motors, regulating the speed of those components.
- Throttle valves regulate the speed of the boom lift’s actuators by varying the flow rate of pressurised fluid.
Hydraulic valve components
These are the parts that make up hydraulic valves. They’re essential if you want to repair a hydraulic valve rather than replace it. Our range includes:
- Cartridge valves
- Magnetic solenoid coils
- Cetop valves
- Base plates
- Manifold blocks
- Seal kits – Complete sets of seals to suit all sorts of valves. Whenever a valve is replaced, the hydraulic seals should also be replaced.
