INVOLVING THE VALUE CHAIN
Our sustainability efforts reach much further than just our own operations. TVH’s Responsible Sourcing Policy, Modern Slavery Statement and Business Partner Code of Conduct ensure that our sourcing aligns with ethical and sustainable practices. With this, we want to contribute positively to environmental and social impacts throughout our value chain.
Social Responsibility
We work closely with our suppliers to uphold international human rights standards. These include the International Bill of Human Rights and the ILO's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
TVH also commits to the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact into its strategy. We reinforce these values with our employees, business partners and other relevant third parties.
All workers across the value chain should be treated fairly and provided with a safe, healthy environment. That’s why we collaborate with our business partners across the value chain to:
- Guarantee health and safety
- Eliminate child and forced labour
- Prioritise education and skill development
Ethical Responsibility
We conduct business in a way that upholds fairness and adheres to ethical standards. Bribery, corruption and other forms of illegal business will not be tolerated.
Environmental Responsibility
We expect our business partners to source our products sustainably and in line with TVH’s Environmental Charter. TVH engages with selected suppliers on their policies and practices concerning carbon emissions, energy use, waste handling and emissions management.
Transparency and traceability
We want transparency and traceability throughout the supply chain, from raw materials to the final product. Working with our suppliers allows us to identify and reduce the risks of environmental harm, social injustice, and unethical practices.
Continuous Improvement
Sustainable business is based on continuous improvement. We regularly review and update our policies, procedures and performance to keep up with changing sustainability standards and best practices.
