‘Lift truck technology for non-engineers’ is a foundation course that gives you a thorough introduction to the technical aspects of lift trucks. No prior knowledge is required, making this course perfect for people who work in a technical-commercial environment, but don’t carry out repairs themselves. It’s ideal for people active in sales, administration, and the warehouse, as well as car mechanics looking to expand their skill sets to include forklifts. In this 2-day course, you’ll participate in theoretical and practical lessons that will give you insight into how lift trucks function and the applications they’re used for. You’ll also learn to recognise different components and locate them on the machine, and you’ll gain the technical knowledge needed to advise customers about lift trucks.

TARGET GROUP

Anyone who is active in a technical-commercial environment, but doesn’t carry out repairs. After the training, the participant has a better insight in the many technical aspects of a lift truck. Only the basic principles are addressed, detailed operating principles aren’t treated. This training course is particularly suitable for people who work in the sales department, warehouse, administration or car mechanics who want to reorientate their career to the forklift business.
