Remanufactured torque converters are a vital component of automatic transmissions. They allow the transmission to shift gears. There are four components inside every torque converter: a pump, a turbine, a stator and transmission fluid. 

Torque converters must be remanufactured according to a very precise process. The repair procedure for remanufactured torque converters consists of disassembling the complete part, replacing the bearings, inspecting vital parts and replacing them if necessary.
