About Rieker Inc.
Rieker Inc. is a worldwide leader in developing and manufacturing quality electronic and mechanical inclinometers.
The story started in 1917 when the Rieker Inc. Instrument Company started making inclinometers to be used in aviation. One of the most famous examples of Rieker Inc.'s installations was the inclinometer on Charles Lindbergh's The Spirit of St. Louis in 1927.
In the early 1970s, Rieker Inc. was the right company at the right time for the construction market, with a solution to help operators identify safety limits for vertical tilt to prevent 'tip-overs'. Many OEMs applied the relatively inexpensive solution to their machines.
In the 1980s, Rieker Inc. once again developed a significant improvement for the construction industry with its Boom Angle Inclinator, to measure the angle of the lifting boom relative to the horizontal position.
Not resting on its laurels, Rieker Inc. continued developing solutions, transforming them into electronic units and laying the foundation for its current worldwide success.
Throughout its endeavours, Rieker Inc. has always remained committed to the customer, focusing on customer service, product availability, technical support and performance. The German company is known for its technological excellence, supported by continuous investments in R&D. This strategy has been the foundation of its growth and ensures quality products for Rieker Inc. customers.
