Because doing things right has always been second nature to TVH, sustainability has been a focus point for many years. This includes investing in solar energy, improving the efficiency of our transportation, and contributing to a circular economy.

We want our business practices to achieve a balance between economic success, environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

TVH is on an ongoing journey towards a sustainable future, with actions that drive long-term changes. Changes that benefit us and our surroundings. We want to be ahead of the curve in a world in constant transition, so we can change, adapt and improve our processes to have a lasting social impact.

Of course, sustainability is not just about tomorrow; it’s happening now, too. Rest assured, we are actively contributing to it. For instance, in 2025, TVH was recognised as a United Nation's Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) Champion, thanks to our continued efforts for sustainability.

Recently, TVH Parts NV was awarded the 'Ecovadis sustainability rating Bronze medal'. The Ecovadis scorecard is available for download.

REDUCING CARBON FOOTPRINT

TVH is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. We aim to do this by addressing greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) across three categories: direct emissions (Scope 1), indirect emissions from energy use (Scope 2) and indirect emissions throughout the value chain (Scope 3).

We aim to cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 57% by 2030. This is achieved by increasing renewable energy production, switching to electric company vehicles, and improving energy efficiency. We also promote the circular economy by remanufacturing over 100,000 parts annually, reducing waste, and conserving resources.

Wellbeing Workforce

TVH invests in its people, focusing on health, safety, inclusivity and continuous learning with a supportive culture.

Through the Safety Bee program, we create a safer, healthier work environment. Our Nudge program promotes a balanced lifestyle and fun activities, and we celebrate diversity with events like the TVH Women’s Network. TVH University offers over 2,000 training courses, helping employees and customers build new skills in a changing world. These initiatives make TVH a place where everyone can feel valued, grow, and thrive.

Upholding business integrity

TVH maintains a strong reputation built on ethical standards, transparency, and accountability. We hold ourselves and our partners to high conduct expectations, including a zero-tolerance policy for modern slavery and a commitment to responsible sourcing.

Our Code of Conduct guides ethical behaviour across our operations. Employees and partners are encouraged to report any concerns via our "Raise Your Voice" platform, with protections against retaliation for those who report issues in good faith.

Involving the value chain

TVH’s sustainability efforts extend beyond our own operations through our Responsible Sourcing Policy and our Business Partner Code of Conduct. We ensure ethical sourcing and work with suppliers to uphold human rights, health and safety, and environmental standards. TVH commits to the UN Global Compact’s principles and focuses on fairness, sustainability, and transparency across the value chain. We regularly review and improve our policies to meet evolving sustainability standards and mitigate risks of environmental and social harm.
