“To illustrate the quality of TotalSource, I should first explain more about our general quality policy. Within TVH’s Quality Department, we are constantly establishing product standards. Such a standard contains a number of conditions that are Critical to Quality—our so-called CTQs—and that the product in question must therefore meet. CTQs typically relate to the form, fit and function of a product. Where relevant, appearance and durability are also included. For example, we test the durability of joysticks with our in-house endurance tester, which continuously moves a joystick back and forth to see how many working cycles it can withstand.”


“These quality standards then form the basis of the specification sheet we use for first article inspection (product onboarding) and quality inspection of incoming products at goods-in. For TotalSource, the standards of our parts and accessories must be such that customers experience flawless assembly and performance that meets their expectations. And, of course, they must also comply with all relevant safety and product regulations.”
