Belgian Prime Minister with TVH Leadership at Mumbai Trade Event

During a networking reception in Mumbai (India), the Belgian family-owned company TVH had the opportunity to connect with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever. Representing TVH, Managing Director India, Vishal Rajani, met with the Prime Minister at the event marking the India-EU Free Trade Agreement.

The event was hosted by Port of Antwerp-Bruges, Flanders Investment & Trade, Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Belgian Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General of Belgium in Mumbai. It was part of H.E. Mr. Bart De Wever’s visit to India on the occasion of the India-EU Free Trade Agreement. At the event, key industry leaders were invited to the High-Level Dialogue on the India-EU FTA, with the attendance of H.E. Mr. Piyush Goyal, the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry.

The invitation was a clear sign of TVH’s position as a global leader in its respective fields of trade and logistics, and a logical attendee in the face of Belgian-Indian investments and relations. In fact, TVH has been present in India for 14 years now. Peter Geiregat, Chief Global Services Officer at TVH: “What began as a support-oriented service centre has evolved and grown into our fast-growing and strategically important Global Capability Centre (GCC). Today, we have over 250 employees in Pune, in all kinds of roles: from commercial and technical support, to data, digital and IT functions.”

In the words of Vishal Rajani: “Today, GCC proudly stands alongside our Belgian and US headquarters as a strategic pillar driving TVH’s global operations and innovation.”

During the event, TVH had the privilege of engaging in key discussions on international trade, logistics, and Belgian-Indian investments, and exchanging insights on TVH’s strategic investments in Pune and Mumbai.
