Jean-Luc Fleur: Parts Interpreter at TVH Australasia

I joined TVH in 2001 and my role provided sales support for forklift spare parts to the domestic market and to a lesser extent to the French islands and to New Zealand.

Over the years, I have enjoyed increasing my intellectual knowledge on worldwide manufactured forklifts, especially those parts sometimes dating as far back as the 1960's as well as brand new machines has never ceased to surprise and amaze me.
TVH prides itself in being a One-Stop Shop for anything related to forklifts, this is not to put it bluntly a slogan’; it is a reality.

Working at TVH as a Parts Interpreter certainly means that one needs a mechanical aptitude and constant curiosity, a perseverance to locate those hard to find parts for a customer whose machine is down and needs your help to get back to production, and last but not least a serious customer service focus.

Our customers represent a community of hard working people, most people know one another, and I find great pleasure in the knowledge that I am helping our customers with a fast, efficient and also friendly service.

Being a fast paced service industry, we work together as a team, always helping one another, at the counter, phone or replying to emails, and it is great to know that we can rely on one another as work mates to achieve what we could not do alone.
