About Grammer
GRAMMER has been at the forefront of seating comfort for over 140 years. Its story began when Willibald GRAMMER opened a saddlery shop in the German town of Amberg in 1880. In 1954, the story took a successful turn when his grandson Georg GRAMMER took over the business and founded a company to manufacture tractor seats; this was the start of the GRAMMER brand that would become a worldwide standard.
In 1964, the first suspended GRAMMER driver seat went into production, and in 1976, GRAMMER successfully developed the foam-in-place technology, an innovation that would push the company to new heights. This technology was developed into coating technology in 1992.
Meanwhile, GRAMMER started looking abroad to expand its activities, with offices and production sites in China. Thanks to successful acquisitions and joint ventures, the company continued its expansion in the UK, Belgium, the USA and India.
Throughout the years, GRAMMER has always combined innovation and ambition, paving the way for its current success.
Thanks to our partnership with GRAMMER, we offer a wide range of seats that suit everyone’s needs.
