Avoid connecting a 48 V charger to a 24 V battery and use coding pins. Fit the pins on the connector so that only plugs with corresponding coding pins fit together. You'll find a voltage indicator on each coding pin for reference. - Flat-wiping connectors make no distinction between male and female plugs. That means you can use the same plug for the battery, charger and telehandler. These connectors are available in different colours. Each colour indicates the battery voltage and has a distinct moulded shape. This prevents connecting conflicting voltages.
