In February TVH hosted the first Bi²t summit in Belgium. TVH IT members from around the world came together in Waregem during this two-day event. The aim was to take further steps towards a global team, professionally and on a personal level.
The first day was kicked off by some inspiring speeches from our CEO Dominiek Valcke, as well as our CBIO Kalman Tiboldi. Afterwards, all attendees joined in a discussion on all sorts of topics and global strategies.
At the end of the first day the attendees - split into three teams - experienced what it’s like to live a computer game in real life. In just one hour, they had to escape a room, in which they were voluntarily locked up. Solving puzzles and collecting items got them closer to the exit. One team managed to escape the room, and acquire eternal fame and glory, albeit confined to the IT department.
On day two, people were split up into smaller workgroups to talk about specific topics concerning Infrastructure, Parts or Equipment. In between the conversations there were short periods of networking during which people could enjoy a coffee or a gourmet hamburger from the Crazy Rock'n Rolla Food truck.
