TVH hosted the fifth annual Tour de Fork fundraising event on October 6th, 2022. This special event is held to raise money and support for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City Olathe Chapter. The Tour de Fork event featured a silent auction, live auction, and live chef demonstrations. All proceeds were donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Olathe.
The event had 294 guests in attendance. Guests enjoyed food from a number of food trucks and a cocktail reception that featured a selection of products from 4Hands Brewing and 1220 Spirits. The live chef demonstration was with Philip Thompson, the Executive Chef at Q39.
Overall, this year's event generated $190,672 for the Boys & Girls Club of Olathe. The money was raised via ticket sales, a silent auction, and a live auction. Guests were able to bid on a variety of items - including trips and special dinners. The top three ticket items were sold during the live auction. They were - a Choose Your Own Adventure Dinner Package at Nick and Jake’s, a 5-night stay for 6 in Los Cabos, and a tailgate package from Q39 for 25 people. Tour de Fork continues to generate much-needed funds for the Olathe club.
