Last Friday 5 October, our valued customer Goscor Group organized its Annual Charity Golf Challenge. Our Durban branch decided to participate and be one of the sponsors.
The TVH team managed to raise an additional R1100 at one hole with their raffle tickets and strongman competition. They even took 3rd place at the prize-giving with a score of 106: Warren Farland (Regional Manager), Johan Pretorius (Hydraulics Representative), Graeme Palmer and Brendan Diaz (from our close customer Palmer Agricultural) swung a mean club!
Meanwhile, Lorraine Willers (Durban Branch Manager) and Jacqueline Briel (Forks & Attachments Sales Advisor) managed the TVH stand at the 15th hole. With the action ‘lift a fork for R20’, attendees could demonstrate their best bodybuilding skills, while contributing to some extra fundraising.
At night, Goscor Group handed over a cheque of R90,000 to the Edith Benson Home, a children’s home in Sherwood that was completely destroyed in a fire in June. We are proud and thankful to be part of such a beautiful initiative.
