TVH OFFICIAL CARRARO REPAIR CENTER

By collaborating with Carraro, TVH strengthens its services and position as repair specialist. Customers in the Belux region can now rely on TVH for expert repairs of Carraro components, including drive and steering axles, automatic transmissions, and gearboxes, all in accordance with Carraro’s rigorous standards.

About Carraro

Carraro was founded in Italy in the 1930s as a manufacturing business focused on the production of sowing machines and equipment for agricultural works. Over the years, the company has expanded and enjoyed increasing fame, becoming one of Italy’s most important tractor manufacturers.

From the 1970s onwards, Carraro concentrated its core business elsewhere, specializing in parts and becoming a key player in the world’s manufacturers of drive systems for agricultural (APA), earth-moving machinery (CPA) and material handling (MPA), for off-road vehicles. Carraro has production plants in Italy, Argentina, India and China.

Technical training @ TVH

One of the steps in the process of becoming an official repair center of Carraro was an intensive technical training for our technicians. This enables us to repair the same products as the new range our customers can buy through our webshop: Drive axles, gears & transmissions from backhoe loaders, wheeled l loaders, telehandlers, wheeled excavators, soil compactors, tractors, aerial platforms and forklifts.

TVH has an extensive stock of Carraro parts. As a privileged partner, we have direct access to the Carraro stock. If you don’t find a very specific Carraro part, we can guarantee a very quick delivery.

Joffrey Deylgat, Manager Remanufactured Spare Parts at TVH, states: “Each repair is performed using genuine Carraro parts to ensure quality and reliability. Additionally, the repaired components undergo extensive testing to meet Carraro’s stringent performance requirements. Our team of technical experts at TVH has received comprehensive training from Carraro, equipping them with the expertise to deliver superior repair services for all Carraro components.”

Customers also have the option to sell their used, repairable Carraro parts to TVH. Vanessa Moerman, Category Manager at TVH, explains: “We restore these parts to Carraro’s standards and reintroduce them to the market as remanufactured parts through our online shop. By doing so, we actively contribute to a circular economy and reduce unnecessary waste.”

TVH and the Carraro After Sales and Spare Parts Division already have a long history of doing business. After some visits to the HQ in Waregem, the decision to implement the repair center there was quickly made. Stefano Image (Director, After Sales & Spare Parts): “At the beginning of the year we did a thorough audit of the workplace facilities and my colleague Marco Baldan (Service manager, After Sales & Spare Parts) gave extensive training to the TVH driveline specialists. It became clear that the growing technical capabilities, focus on sustainability and specializations in TVH are in line with our own company’s philosophy: bringing the products even closer towards the customer. The TVH group is also situated centrally in Europe and has been expanding worldwide. From a logistical point of view, the Waregem HQ is situated perfectly and the company is known as an expert in logistics. Another big advantage is the fact that THV is focussing more and more on the agricultural sector. An important market to target for us as well.”

The transition towards a circular economy is important for the Italian company as well. “In times of pollution and climate change, the step towards a more circular economy is a logical one to take. Because TVH has a team of skilled technicians, the repair center is a future-proof solution. Driving axles for example are a very complex part of the machine. In the repair center, it’s necessary to meet the requirements of new products. Customers can now rely on the trained technicians at TVH to repair all of the parts available on the e-commerce platform. We are thrilled to take our collaboration to the next level.”

TVH testing facilities

Before our experts start replacing wear parts, they perform an impressive amount of tests. Our very own parts workshop is filled with different test benches: developed and constructed by experienced engineers.. They simulate real-life working conditions.
